XDRO Registry

XDRO (eXtensively Drug Resistant Organism) Registry was developed in collaboration with MRAIA, the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), and the Chicago CDC Prevention and Intervention Epicenter. 

 

The XDRO Registry provides a solution for tracking and reporting patients with drug resistant organisms.  In addition to hosting the registry, MRAIA also provides a secure platform for data transmission.

XDRO Registry Validation Project

IDPH  conducted a validation of Carbapenem resistance Enterobacteriaceae (CRE) reporting to the XDRO registry in collaboration with MRAIA and the Chicago Department of Public Health in 2018 and 2019.

​MRAIA served as the data management hub, performed data standardization, and analyzed microbiology data with the goal to understand and help improve completeness of CRE reporting in Illinois.
