Public Health Node is an informatics solution for the State of Illinois' Public Health data needs.
MRAIA's transformation engine processes electronic health records data from clinics and health systems, standardizes the data structure, maps terminology, applies business rules, and validates the content of the messages. Data are then transmitted to the appropriate public health partners, including: the Illinois National Electronic Disease Surveillance System (I-NEDSS), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)'s BioSense program, and their National Healthcare Safety Network Surveillance system (NHSN).
MRAIA collaborates with the Chicago Department of Public Health, Illinois Department of Public Health, and the CDC to efficiently and securely transmit Public Health data.
